September lunch and frog watch

Don your spring bonnet as we salute Spring and join the Lake George Day VIEW club for lunch at Mt Majura Vineyard on 15th September Wine tasting is included. Arrive at 11:30am and enjoy a fizzy cocktail as you listen to winemaker Frank van de Loo unlock the mystery of wine-making. After a buffet lunch, leap into Spring with Emma Keightley as she tells us about Frogwatch. Still not ready to go home? Gumboots will be available for you to meander through the vines. Cost: $25. Please read on to get the details of our exciting program for this spring, and how you can get involved in Frogwatching.Frogwatch is an exciting community activity that is open to everyone with an interest in frogs. Frogwatch aims to involve large numbers of volunteers to undertake frog monitoring in the ACT and region. To participate, simply come along to one of our free Frogwatch training events, where you will learn all about our amphibian friends. You will receive your free Frogwatch Kit that includes all you need to know to participate in the ACT and Region National Water Week Frogwatch Census in October 2009.
